My client, a market leading, UK based Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Environmental Consultant to join their Team of Engineers and Consultants based in Cardiff.
Applicants are required to have a BSc or MSc in a related discipline including Geography, Environmental Science or Environmental Management and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing or co-coordinating ES Statements and/or Environmental Impact Assessments.
Candidates are required to have a keen interest in hydrology, flood risk and environmental permitting.
As a Senior Environmental Consultant you will have the opportunity to complete and co-ordinate Environmental Impact Assessments and ES Chapters for varied projects spanning a Local Authorities, Water Companies, Private Sector Clients and Housing Developers. You will work on hydrological, energy and infrastructure projects for mixed use developments.
Candidates will be required to complete;
-Environmental Impact Assessments and Environmental Statements.
-Hydrology chapters for EIAs.
-EIA project management including managing and tracking project development with assistance from Senior team members.
-Water Resources and Hydrology Assessments.
-Client meetings to discuss the development of the project.
-Frequent meetings with Clients to discuss project development.
