High School ELL Teacher Full-Time and Part-Time
BrightSpire Talent is seeking qualified High School ELL Teachers for current and upcoming openings. These positions focus on supporting English Language Learners as they develop the skills and confidence to succeed academically and socially in a supportive, mission-driven school environment.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons to build English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
Adapt instruction to meet the needs of students at varying levels of English proficiency
Collaborate with classroom teachers to support ELL students across subjects
Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instruction and providing targeted interventions
Support students academic and cultural integration into the school community
Communicate regularly with families, administrators, and staff to ensure student growth and success
Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification in ESL/ELL (or eligibility for licensure)
Bachelor s degree in Education, TESOL, Linguistics, or a related field required; Master s degree preferred
Prior teaching experience with English Language Learners strongly preferred
Knowledge of second language acquisition strategies and culturally responsive teaching practices
Strong communication, patience, and collaboration skills
