General Responsibilities / Job Summary:
This position is responsible for documentation and tracking of real estate, commercial and consumer loans with a focus on collateral. Assists with exception reporting and tracking. This requires knowledge of the Loan Operations servicing functions and procedures and keeping up to date with all changes to bank policies, procedures, federal and state regulations which impact problem resolution aspects. This position may assist with special initiatives or projects; support other areas within Loan Operations as needed.
Essential Functions/Duties:

Prepare loan collateral: Handle the preparation of various loan collateral documents such as mortgages, UCCs, titles, and brokerage accounts. Upload & verify collateral: Input collateral data into the bank's system, ensuring accuracy and correctness. Maintain collateral records: Keep accurate and updated records of bank collateral, verifying reports like the brokerage and paid loan reports. Submit loan releases: Process and document loan releases for collateralized loans, ensuring proper payoff records. Conduct research on collateral inquiries: Investigate and respond to collateral-related inquiries from clients or internal departments. Track exceptions: Participate in exception tracking and forward findings to supervisors for review. Master loan systems: Learn and become proficient in LINKBANK's loan-related software platforms like SilverLake, Loan Vantage, and Jack Henry. Cross-train & teamwork: Provide support as a backup for other department roles and collaborate to ensure timely completion of work. Participate in training programs: Attend relevant training sessions to stay updated on procedures and regulatory requirements for job competency. Effective communication: Keep the supervisor informed about department updates and respond to inquiries from internal teams and leadership. Follow security & control procedures: Adhere to established protocols to protect the bank's and clients' assets. Software proficiency: Stay skilled in using all software essential for the role. Other duties: Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Training: College degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Juggling priorities with clear direction: Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently with guidance from a supervisor. Attention to detail & problem-solving: Focuses on accuracy and can identify solutions proactively. Compliance with Bank policies: Works closely with internal teams to ensure adherence to the Bank's procedures. Strong computer skills: Requires proficiency with computers, particularly with Windows. Community involvement & networking: Engages in local groups and maintains strong professional connections. Communication & leadership skills: Possesses strong interpersonal, leadership, and organizational abilities.
Experience:
Loan operations experience preferred. Branch, lending, and payment processing experience is an advantage.
Required Certification/Licenses:
Travel Requirements: Ability to travel to all locations in the bank's footprint as needed.
Physical and Mental Job Requirements:
Must be able to verbally communicate instructions and information clearly, concisely, and accurately to our clients and other employees. Must be able to read and comprehend sometimes complex schedules, and details to process correspondence accurately, while providing exceptional client service. Manual dexterity for the functional operation of office equipment, computer terminal, and other office equipment. Must have visual acuity required to work at a computer terminal. Mobility enough to coordinate activities in the department and lifting to 50 pounds may be required.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, printers/copiers, phones, and postage meters.
