The Opportunity We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our HR team in administrative, recruitment, and employee services duties. This role serves as a key liaison between the HR department and employees, ensuring accurate and timely support across all HR functions. This role offers a unique chance to make an immediate impact on both our employees' experience and the efficiency of our HR operations. As the ATS owner , you will be the go-to resource for optimizing our hiring process and ensuring a smooth candidate journey. You will have the opportunity to grow alongside a supportive HR team , learning best practices across areas of recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and compliance. You'll not only be supporting day-to-day operations but also shaping the future of our workforce experience through meaningful projects and process improvements. Your Responsibilities Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communications, and track recruitment efforts using our ATS (Applicant Tracking System). Serve as ATS custodian: maintain, monitor, and ensure data integrity within the system. Support onboarding with preparation of new-hire documentation, orientation scheduling and ensuring access to necessary tools and resources. Maintain employee records, update HRIS databases, and manage personnel files with discretion and accuracy. Handle routine HR inquiries with professionalism. Assist with HR initiatives such as benefits enrollment, training logistics, and employee engagement activities. Champion engagement initiatives aligned to our Mission Vision & Values, run recognition, organize culture moments, and maintain an engagement dashboard with trends and next steps. Uphold confidentiality and demonstrate responsibility when handling sensitive documents and data. Education & Experience Associate's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred). A minimum of 1 year in HR support or administrative role (internships or relevant customer support roles accepted). Required Competencies Coachability - Eager to learn, open to feedback, and able to adapt to evolving HR processes and systems. Positive Mental Attitude - Approaches challenges with optimism, resilience, and constructive energy. Responsibility for ATS - Proactive in managing the ATS; ensures the system is accurate, organized, and leveraged effectively for recruitment workflows. Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Familiar with MS Office; HRIS or ATS experience is a strong plus.
