* Penguin are delighted to be advertising for a position as an Asbestos Surveyor, working within an Asbestos specialist's company that have been UKAS accr3edited since 2003 and are focused on providing comprehensive Asbestos Management Services.

* This opportunity that we are looking into for our business partner has come about based on a 5 year contract having been won with the Birmingham City Council. The contract is based mostly within the city centre, performing high quality Asbestos Surveys on domestic sites.
*
* This is the perfect opportunity if you are not looking to travel far and wide as the sites are clustered together. That doesn't mean to say there won't be the occasional job that is in Middlesborough or Essex, don't let this scare you as they are terrifically understanding and split this work between the team, no Surveyor left behind!

* Key Duties of an Asbestos Surveyor:
* Able to identify asbestos containing materials
* Assess the risk of materials that contain asbestos
* Possess a high quality of communication skills both verbally and written
* Confidently produce a concise and accurate report after surveying
* Work in a timely manner to adhere to deadlines set
* Have an up-to-date knowledge of industry guidelines.
* Qualifications Required:
* BHOS P402 qualified (More qualifications are welcomed; they are hiring more senior roles as well)
* Between 1- and 4-years' experience which will decide the range of salary.
* Full UK driving license
* Working knowledge of software such as Microsoft Teams
