Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Division: UK Construction
Location: Cambridge
Senior Quantity Surveyors, are you ready to embark on a new journey?
Do you want to join a thriving Tier 1 contractor?
Projects on average range between GBP5m - GBP30 million and the sectors include: Leisure, Justice, Defence, Education, Healthcare and Commercial schemes.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Exposure to the full project lifecycle with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery
* Working alongside the project delivery team, to ensure the contractual control and cost management of projects across different sectors
* Managing the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement
* Being involved with the final account negotiation to ensure the best possible outcome
* Manage junior Surveyors
Skills & experience:
* Main contractor experience as the SQS within the Construction space
* Experience of different contract forms
* Experience on projects ranging between GBP5m to GBP30m
