Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday
Reeson Education is working with a welcoming primary school in Putney who are seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 and small group support for a child in Reception with Autism and challenging behaviour.
The Role:
Supporting a Reception-aged pupil with Autism (ASD) and challenging behaviour
*
Implementing strategies to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
*
Assisting the class teacher with classroom routines, learning activities, and interventions
*
Building trusting relationships with the pupil and encouraging engagement in learning
*
Collaborating with the SENCO and wider staff team
Ideal Candidate:
Experience supporting children with ASD and challenging behaviour
*
Calm, patient, and nurturing with strong communication skills
*
Confident working 1:1 and in small groups
*
Understanding of SEN strategies, visual aids, and structured routines
*
Committed to inclusion and helping pupils achieve their potential
*
Enhanced DBS or willing
