The job is a member of the Sales team within the Global Sales Division. This role is responsible for managing, developing, and mentoring a team of Account Managers who drive strategic sales growth across international markets. The position leads cross-functional collaboration, oversees performance, and executes commercial strategies that strengthen global partnerships and deliver measurable business results. This Manager will oversee team members in other countries such as Chile and Colombia.

•    Lead and develop a team of Account Managers, setting clear goals and leveraging global sales resources to drive international revenue growth
•    Build strategic alignment across Revenue Management, Yield Management, and Revenue Accounting through regular collaboration and joint planning sessions
•    Design and implement segment-specific initiatives that support global sales strategies, including performance tracking and market analysis
•    Manage the corporate sales channel by developing tailored strategies, maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth through customized solutions and account management excellence
•    Coordinate commercial initiatives with airline alliance partners to ensure strategic alignment, maximize joint opportunities, and enhance value delivery across shared customer segments
•    Drive profitability by holding the team accountable to performance metrics, optimizing time management, and executing account plans that shift share to American Airlines
•    Evaluate and prioritize sales investments using data-driven ROI analysis, ensuring budget efficiency and competitive positioning
•    Strengthen customer relationships through quarterly business reviews, CRM insights, and proactive engagement with alliance partners and operational teams
•    Navigate internal systems to manage contracts, lead strategy sessions, and conduct quarterly performance assessments while fostering a culture of empathy, accountability, and results

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

•    Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or a related field
•    5+ years of experience in sales or related experience
•    Fluently read, write, and speak English

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

•    Master’s degree in business administration, sales, or a related field
•    Airline or business to business sales experience
•    Sales management experience

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

•    Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
•    Knowledge of the airline’s network, products, and services as well as the competition
•    Analytical and negotiation skills
•    Skills in managing a large volume of projects through multi-tasking
•    Ability to convey the value of American Airlines’ network, product and program to the customers
