Job Descriptions:

-Responsible for the development of BI reporting, visualization and data exploration and BI technology solutions. Produce secured, documented, high quality BI solution to support various business needs and data analytics initiatives.
-Technical implementation of Data warehouse, business intelligence. reporting and data visualization. To create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into useful information and knowledge to support business decision.
-Responsible for the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of Data Integration frameworks and ETL processes, including mappings, workflows, batch jobs, shell scripts, stored procedures, etc.
-Enhancing and supporting the Data Warehouse batch processing using SAS
-Turning business requirements into scalable, long-term technical requirements.
-Perform user acceptance and system integration testing for quality assurance
-Develop and implement reporting and dashboards in accordance to user requirements
-Provide operational support and ongoing maintenance and enhancement after implementation.
-Development and unit testing application software across production support, enhancements, and projects
-Uses SAS Programming language to write queries to extract data and synthesize for use in reporting and data analysis.
-Creates and publishes periodic standard reports, as well as any necessary ad hoc reports and analyses.
-Conducts training on use of applications developed.
-Assists with user acceptance testing and regression testing as needed; collaborate with data warehouse and IT teams to support data quality and keep data stores maintained and relevant in our ever-changing industry.
-Performs data reconciliations, variance and impact analyses; researches cause and effect of data issues identified; develops solutions to remediate detected problems.
Requirements:

-A Bachelor’s degree, Master’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent.
-At least 1-2 years’ experience in a data engineering role or business intelligence development experience Strong programming, ETL and database management Skills i.e. SAS, SQL, including experience querying and tuning large, complex data sets and performance analysis
-Knowledge in.NET (VB) programming will be added advantage
-Basic understanding over Linux commands
-Experience in data visualization/BI tools Experience in Data warehouse platforms and Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) and SQL.
-Experience with other aspects of data management such as data quality, data governance and metadata management
-Knowledge in BI / Data warehouse architecture and implementation experience
-Able to work independently and in a team.
-Good critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
-Ability to analyze and understand complex problems
-Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
